Mentoring
It’s an honour to support others with their creative journeys. It always has been. From the years teaching writing in schools and universities- with ex-offenders, refugees groups, the elderly-to now through online one-on-one mentoring sessions.
———
I love the intimacy of these relationships – building a sense of trust, support and holding the writer's words and dreams as my own. And I love how these sessions can be offered using various online platforms, so regardless of geographical location, anyone can benefit.
———
I currently mentor writers in Mexico, South Africa, America, Australia and throughout Europe.
“I was blown away by the tangible difference in the quality of my writing. Through saying yes to working with Rebecca, I was committing to something which really matters to me”.
— Yana Fay Dzedze, Memoir Writer and Life Coach
How it works
The mentoring consists of tutorials designed by us both, relevant to your needs. A developed programme is established during an initial conversation so we can bring your dream projects into being; this might be a novel, a pamphlet, a short story collection, submissions to magazines.
———
It might be overcoming fears, creative blocks or simply having additional support to create new work, editing, prompts for new material or guidance in how one can develop, grow and make a flourishing career as a writer.
———
Mentoring can be anything from an individual session, to a longer term relationship. Mostly it is about you saying YES to your creativity. For more info click the link below.
